Problem

100x sought a marketing website for their trading platform. We found that many competitors used an overly serious tone, which was unengaging for some demographics and didn't align with the fun and vibrant tone of our client's visual language.

Outcome

The site demystifies and clearly communicates services to potential customers while exciting and engaging them with interactive elements. Features like falling coins, mirroring those available on the trading platform, add a playful touch and enhance user interaction.

Process

After defining the project’s requirements, I organised brand assets into a design system to streamline the process. Once the core structure was approved through wireframes, I used Figma for detailed design and continued liaising with the client. After the design was approved, I handed it over to the developers and supported them throughout the build.

Challenges

The main challenge was addressing loading delays caused by the interactive coins. Initially, these coins were designed to respond to the user's mouse and specific viewports, leading to performance issues. To resolve this, we kept the client informed, managed expectations, and explored alternatives like reducing the number of coins and removing certain interactivity.
